Welp, Spike gets another episode. He sets out to find himself with a band of bad dragons. In the end, he proves that not all dragons are bad and he doesn't need to be someone he's not. It may be a lesson about being true to yourself but it also raises the issue of nature vs. nurture. A previous episode touches on a subject of whether Spike and all dragons are intrinsically evil but it is the nurture part that brought him back to how he normally behaves. It's the memories and experiences he shares with his friends that makes him the lovable Spike we know and no evil gene, if they exist, is going to make him any other way.
